I know what you are thinking: This doesn’t look healthy at all. It’s not low fat, and it’s not low carb because of the honey, but it is more natural than a cheese dip or other products. The walnuts have omega-3s, the blueberries are loaded with antioxidants, and the brie is a good source of calcium. Besides, this is a gorgeous dish and so easy to put together. In my original recipe, I used brown sugar and butter to create a sauce, but I revamped it and use honey instead so it’s a more natural product.
It’s absolutely delightful.
I highly recommend using local honey! If you don’t know what is going on in the world of honey, there is an excellent Netflix documentary series called Rotten, and the first episode #1 “Lawyers, Guns & Honey,” is about the adulteration of the honey industry and how the Chinese are diluting the product. It’s amazing. I highly recommend it. Watch it and you will support your local beekeepers.
Peachy Brie
1 wedge of brie
1/3 cup local honey
1 cup chopped peaches
2/3 cup walnut halves
1/2 cup blueberries
Buttery crackers or French bread for serving
This delightful brie takes less than 10 minutes to prepare and it’s beautiful, too. Be sure to get all the elements in one bite.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Place brie in the oven for 5-7 minutes, until the brie softens. Immediately top with honey, chopped peaches, walnuts and blueberries and serve with crackers or French bread.
If you make this in winter and cannot find peaches, you can substitute dates, but decrease the honey to 1/4 cup because the dates are very sweet. Slice the dates in thirds before spreading on the brie.
Looks amazing! Honestly when I saw it, I instantly thought it was healthy haha. I just looked at your other posts and all your pictures and recipes are beautiful. I’m curious, what kind of camera do you use for the pictures? Great work, well deserved follow 🙂
I recently published a motivational post on my blog, could you take a look? I’m trying to get as much feedback as possible. If you enjoyed it, could you leave a like/follow. I’d really appreciate it 🙂

Hello,
Thank you so much for the follow. You are the first. I am just starting this blog and haven’t announced it yet to anyone. I am still trying to design and work out the kinks. I have plenty of creativity, but really struggle with the IT part, which is a bummer. It’s so important. I shoot with a Nikon 5100 and have been shooting for a couple of years. Thanks for the compliment on the photography. I appreciate it. I always use natural light which I think is key with food. I am also incredibly passionate about food, so that helps the food shine, too.
I will definitely check out your blog. I am so excited you found mine. I will read your post and give you feedback. Have a wonderful day!

Yes, I do. I plan to get it hooked up on here this weekend. Was trying to have my front page set up before I announced the blog to any of my Facebook followers. But you can search for me on there now. Quick question, do you like the new theme/style? I changed it to add more photos. Have a great day! Thank you
